Miley’s Ink Collection
Miley Cyrus is one of the most inked celebrities out there. The former Disney Channel darling has, by our unofficial count, roughly 40 tattoos. That number may seem a little surprising, considering that she still has so much skin showing, but Miley tends to favor quantity over size.
Most of her ink is on the small side, but don’t think that means that she doesn’t have quality work. Miley has tattoos from some of the biggest names in the industry — Dr. Woo, Bang Bang, and Kat Von D have all contributed to her collection. In the gallery below you will see a relatively complete collection of Miley Cyrus’s tattoos.You can’t blame us for not having all of them, she’s probably added two more tattoos while we wrote this!
As of April 27th 2017, Cyrus’s most recent piece is a portrait of her dog Emu by celebrity tattoo artist, Dr. Woo. Woo shows up quite a bit in this gallery and based on the quality of his work, we can definitely see why Cyrus is a regular client.

This was the one that started it all. At the age of 17, Miley got this tattoo in tribute to a friend who had passed away from cystic fibrosis.

This cute little puffer fish was inked by Dr. Woo.
This tattoo may shatter your preconceptions about who Miley Cyrus is… it’s a quote from Teddy Roosevelt’s “Citizen and Republic” speech. That’s pretty deep.
This tiny little avocado by Lauren Winzer is the most recent of Miley’s ink. Although, we’re guessing by the time this is posted she’s probably gotten a few more. Also, who wants some guac?
Miley was not alone in getting that tribute tattoo, Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips and Katy Weaver joined her.

One of the most impressive looking tattoos Miley sports is this anatomically correct heart tattooed by Kat Von D. The design is based off of a drawing by Leonardo DaVinci.
These crossed arrows on Miley’s arm are perhaps her most often seen tattoo.

This tattoo, one of many Miley has gotten from Bang Bang, cracks us up. Don’t worry, we assure you that the spelling is intentional.

Kat Von D gave Miley these two foot tattoos. We’re guessing it’s a tribute to the magazine, although perhaps she’s showing love to one specific member of the band.

We showed you one of the tattoos that Miley shares with Wayne Coyne earlier, so it shouldn’t be a big surprise that she has a tattoo of one of the robots that Yoshimi fought so hard against.

On April 27th of 2017, Miley got a tribute to her dog Emu by artist Dr. Woo. This piece fits in nicely with some of the other micro tattoos in Cyrus’s collection, including a puffer fish by Woo and a crescent moon by Bang Bang.
