Tattoos and motorcycles are a cornerstone of life on the edge—trademarks of those among us that play by nobody’s rules but their own—and the rules of the road when the situation calls for it. If you combine the two, it’s safe to assume the badassery of your skin just got kicked up a gear or three. Check out this gallery of motorcycle tattoos and decide for yourself if these people were born to be wild.

This gorgeous piece from Kyle Wood out of Washington State looks ready to explode off this guy’s bicep and rip down the nearest highway.

This retro black and white piece by Tyler Adams out of Grizzly Tattoo in Portland, OR looks like it belongs on a print on the walls of an upscale dealership, but doesn’t look half bad here either.
