Let’s get one thing perfectly clear—sex work is work! Not only is it work, but it’s arguably the oldest professions in human history. There are many different kinds of sex work, both legal and illegal, with one of the most popular being stripping. Stripping, also known as exotic dancing, revolves around the art of the striptease. Over the years, many films have premiered which focus on strippers. Some of the most prominent include 2019’s “Hustlers,” which starred Jennifer Lopez and Constance Wu and 1995’s “Showgirls” starring Elizabeth Berkley. And of course, we cannot forget 2012’s “Magic Mike,” starring Channing Tatum.
