Lucy Thompson is a 29-year-old tattoo artist who specializes in creating realistic nipple tattoos. Since dedicating her craft to helping individuals who’ve undergone mastectomies, Thompson has run into challenges promoting her business on social media, as sites like Facebook regularly censor her content. However, she recently hit a major stride after her work won big at a popular tattoo convention.

At the Titanic Tattoo Convention in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Thompson and the artists at her shop took home some of the top prizes. Thompson herself took home Most Realistic Tattoo with a pair of bilateral 3-D nipple tattoos, which her client was both brave and proud to enter in the contest.
