Inked Girl of the Month: Cervena Fox Is Lighting Up the Stage and the Tattoo World
This July, Inked is proud to spotlight the fierce, fiery, and fabulously inked Cervena Fox, a multitalented powerhouse who carved out her own lane in both the tattoo and burlesque scenes. A British-born artist now living in Las Vegas, Cervena is a full-time burlesque and fire performer, tattoo artist, and model.
Her journey with ink started young, very young. “I got my first tattoo when I was 15 and I knew from that point I was going to have a full body suit,” she says. It wasn’t long before Cervena landed her first tattoo apprenticeship at just 16, learning the ropes at Bloodline Studio in Milton Keynes, U.K. Inspired by rockstars and women in music videos with full sleeves, she knew exactly the life she wanted to live, and she’s doing just that.
One of her most meaningful tattoos is a tribute to her biggest supporter, her grandmother. “She and I would bird watch together, and when she saw my swallows, she said they were beautiful (even though) my parents were mortified. She even bought my first tattoo machine in 2008,” Cervena says. She still treasures that machine to this day.
While she’s covered in incredible body art, her burlesque-inspired tattoos hold deep personal meaning. “My most special tattoo is the jewelry on my hands, collarbones, feet, and butt,” she shares. “It’s my tribute to my burlesque. I live and breathe burlesque, and I desperately wanted something to represent that.”
When she’s not performing or tattooing, Cervena is dreaming up dazzling costumes for her stage shows. “I love creating a concept of glitter, rhinestones, and glam. A lot of blood, sweat and tears go into them.” Despite her bold presence, she admits she’s a self-proclaimed introvert who finds peace in nature with her dogs or during quiet hikes.
Being Inked Girl of the Month is a full-circle moment for Cervena. “It means so much to me because I was first on the cover of Inked Girls back in 2013 and then Inked Magazine in 2017. To be celebrated by Inked Magazine so many years later, I’m so thankful and grateful.”
As if that’s not enough, Cervena is launching a sizzling new merch line called Inferno Noir. “I’ve been designing bikinis that are perfect for those who hate tan lines,” she says. Inferno Noir was introduced on June 1, 2025, and features three different tops and bottoms, available in five colors. You can follow her new venture on Instagram @theinfernonoir.
From burlesque to ink and everything in between, Cervena is proof that fearless creativity and bold self-expression never go out of style.
