Aesthetically speaking, the sides of buildings are often quite boring. Three plus stories of plain concrete facade can be an unintentional eye sore within a city, but french street artist Patrick Commecy is doing his part to change this. Commecy paints remarkable 3D frescoes on the side of buildings that are so realistic that it appears as if an entire world of life has taken the place of the dull, blank concrete. Each of Commecy’s murals is bursting with life as women water plants on their balconies, birds fly into the sky and people lounge in cafes. In the gallery below we have collected some of Commecy’s most impressive murals. Enjoy.
