A person’s heritage plays at least a small part in how they see themselves and how they relate to the world, and in the case of celebrities who enjoy getting tattooed, they sometimes choose pieces that represent their culture and their family’s background, often as a reminder of where they came from. So, with St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner and hoards of Irish people no doubt heading to the tattoo shop for shamrock ink, we decided to do a little digging and see what celebrities have gone under the needle for tattoos inked in honor of their heritage.
