We don’t know about you, but every time we watch an episode of Game of Thrones there are two thoughts running through our minds. The first thought is that we are continually petrified that every character that we even moderately enjoy will be killed at any moments. The second thought, which is honestly the more prevalent one, is that we would love to be in a roadside tavern alongside the Hound or Tyrion Lannister throwing down drink after drink in those cool mugs made out of horns. There’s nothing we can to to prevent the death of our loved ones but we can take action and buy one of those amazing mugs thanks to The Jelling Dragon.
The self-described Viking Craft Store has all your viking needs, including the handmade horn beer mugs of our dreams. Each mug is hand made in the United Kingdom from a single piece of cow horn. Each horn is then heated and shaped to form a handle before a wooden base is affixed. Once you have your mug you’ll be able to throw down brew after brew just like Robert Baratheon. But please, don’t go on a boar hunt while doing so, you don’t want to end up like like the First of His Name.
The Jelling Dragon is kind enough to include the rules for a Game of Thrones drinking game to help you break in your new mug. Although given some of those rules—drink when people have sex, drink when Hodor says Hodor—you’ll be drunker than Tyrion at a royal wedding in no time.
