Cameo Tattoos

The cameo tradition began in the fifteenth or sixteenth century, and have since become a term used to describe a type of jewelry. In the past, cameo’s have had various images carved on them such as God’s and Goddesses, rulers and kings, and even heroes. Today’s cameo tend to show a person’s profile, mainly a woman’s.
