Today is Bike to Work day, but you probably already knew that. It makes sense since this week is Bike to Work week. And May is Bike Month. Cities all over the country, and the cyclists in those cities, are celebrating by, you guessed it, riding their bikes to work. In Columbus, Ohio, the mayor led bicyclists on a ride to downtown Columbus. Yesterday, New York City Citibikes were available for free in honor of Bike Week.
Sure, the mass produced rentable bikes don’t look nearly as cool as the pedaled creations in the gallery below, but your bike probably doesn’t either. Flip through the gallery below and see how some people invoked their inner Pee Wee Herman and got adventurous with their bikes.
