It’s been a while since TLC (the cable network, not the 90s R&B group) was only a channel about learning. These days, viewers turn to “The Learning Channel” to learn what it’s like to be a “Long Island Medium,” or have “19 Kids and Counting,” or to live “My 600-lb Life.”
This week, TLC launched the #MomTats campaign. “Just because you’re a mom doesn’t mean you can’t have a tattoo,” the network explains on their blog, “or maybe you’re showing your love for mom through a tat — well let the world see it! Share your #momtats with us!” On their site, they are gathering photos with the hashtag “#momtats” and displaying them all in one place. And they’ve gotten exactly what they asked for: plenty of pictures of mom-themed tattoos and also lots of lovely inked up moms from around the country.
