Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel is no stranger to the headlines. He’s been making them since high school, continued to as a Heisman Trophy winning freshman when he played for the Texas A&M University Aggies, and most recently made the news when he was released from a drug and alcohol rehab facility. Today it’s not “Johnny Football” whose name is in bold print, it’s his girlfriend model Colleen Crowley.
Manziel and Crowley have not been shy about sharing the trajectory of their relationship with the public. For months, the two of them have been publicly displaying their affection via Manziel’s Instagram and Crowley’s. A whole new level of that affection was displayed by Crowley today when she posted a selfie that showed a tattoo on her right arm that appears to be an EKG reading that turns into her boyfriend’s signature.
In a statement from Manziel after his release from rehab, he stated that he owes “private apologies to a lot of people” and that he takes full responsibility for his actions and intends to “work very hard to regain everyone’s trust and respect.” Crowley’s photo and her new tattoo show that Manziel seems to be making progress on that front, and it’s clear that Crowley is standing by her man. Manziel obviously has some good people in his camp, and that’s one of the most important things when it comes to recovery.

Tattoo enthusiasts often claim addiction, but true addiction involves chemical and psychological dependence. Obsessive love for tattoos is not the same as addiction.
