Hello everyone! This week for Inked and all the readers, I wanted to introduce a little girl-on-girl action! My good friend Samii Ryan came over for a luxe bath experience and I made sure to capture it for y’all! In the photos you’ll notice the only thing she has on is jewelry. Not only is she a mega babe, but she’s also a bossy business owner. Her company, By Samii Ryan, offers contemporary jewelry for every trendsetting babe out there. Its even available at INKEDSHOP.COM! Read below for a short interview with Samii herself and make sure to visit her exclusive gallery, here.
Can you start by telling us a little about yourself for those that aren’t familiar?
I’m 23, Aries, and have been designing accessories since I was in high school. I started by making all the feather hair accessories for Kesha, Victoria Justice, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and all the other teen stars! That’s what really launched my career. I have released a couple of lines that are more metal and stones, as well as my two new lines “rapper goddess” and “white light” collection. I’m also a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and have been modeling and acting since I was 14. I was actually in Blue Valentine and played the role “Amanda”. I missed my graduation cruise to film with Ryan Gosling & Michelle Williams for a week! (Fun fact)
You recently made the move to LA from the east coast. What made you want to come to Cali?
For the past two years I’ve been practically bi-coastal, I was traveling back & forth from Pennsylvania to LA every month. Last year my lease ended in PA and I decided it was either NYC or LA. LA stole my heart and I work with a lot of companies out here so it made sense!
I saw you had a launch party for your jewelry line, By Samii Ryan. How did it go and what were you celebrating?
It was so exciting but I was so nervous no one would show up! I think that happens when anyone throws an event. I was really stoked at all the supporters who came out! My buzznet family, my friends, and some customers showed up it was awesome! The night was filled with jewelry and hip hop. What’s better than that?
How long have you been making jewelry?
I’ve been making jewelry since 2008!
Where can we find your jewelry?
You can find my jewelry online my site www.bysamiiryan.com or you can shop it on InkedShop, Nylon Shop, and Dolls Kill soon!
What inspires you when you are creating new designs?
Honestly it just depends on where I’m at in my life and what’s currently inspiring me. I can get inspired by several things such as; astrology, crystals, spiritual stuff, hip hop, urban culture, travel… The list goes on!
Can we expect another drop soon?
Yes! I’m working on designing a line of jewelry that will hopefully drop soon!
Any other new projects you’ve been working on?
Yes! I have two blogs currently! One is with my girl (you, lol), The Bleached Niche, which showcases our personal style. And another one I just started is about sex and relationships called Sex & The Valley! As well as my blogging I’m always doing photo shoots for street wear brands & sexy babe shoots. Possibly a TV show too! Stay tuned for greatness & a Samii Ryan takeover!!
