Creating a masterpiece of stop-motion animation like The Nightmare Before Christmas is a grueling task to undertake. We’re guessing that plenty of coffee is needed to keep the animators up to their task and what could be better than drinking that joe out of the “Jack Skellington” Mug by Black Label?
Honestly though, you don’t need to be creating a ground-breaking film in order to enjoy today’s InkedShop Product of the Day, you just need to enjoy the amazing art and creativity that lurks in Tim Burton’s head.
Jack Skellington is an incredibly iconic character that still resonates deeply with moviegoers more than 20 years after the release of The Nightmare Before Christmas. These days the hokey sentimentality of many classic Christmas movies—think It’s a Wonderful Life or Miracle on 34th Street—has turned people off of the genre in general. The reason that The Nightmare Before Christmas works with this generation is that it has dark elements that keep things interesting without losing the heart of the Christmas movies from yesteryear. The Nightmare Before Christmas is also such a well-crafted film that there is no reason to only enjoy it during the holiday season, just like how you can enjoy the Jack Skellington Mug by Black Label 365 days a year!
Heck, even people who have never seen the movie know the face of Jack Skellington and will likely compliment you as you enjoy drinking out of your mug. So head on over to INKEDSHOP.COM and pick up the Jack Skullington Mug by Black Label today. And if that’s not enough Skellington for you, check out this gallery of tattoos inspired by the beloved film.
