Nathan Shields thought of the best possible way to get his kids to eat their breakfast–by turning their boring old pancakes into works of art. Shileds came up with the idea for the art while on a trip to Saipan, so naturally he refers to the project as Saipancakes. Shields is a darn cool dad, most parents don’t have the patience to make a Darth Vader or Maleficent first thing in the morning. When he’s not in the kitchen making masterpieces Shields is a math teacher, so don’t be surprised that the many of his designs lean toward the nerdy side of things. Try not to drool too much as you flip through this gallery of masterpieces by Shields.
