Steph Curry’s Tattoo Tribute to His Children
The Golden State Warrior made the best of his time off and added a sweet tattoo
Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors are not having the best 2019. After losing to the Raptors in the NBA Finals last season, the team lost Kevin Durant to free agency and Klay Thompson to injury. With things already looking bleak as the 2019/2020 season got off to a rocky start, the star point guard broke his hand in October.
The Warriors currently sit at the very bottom of the standings in the Western Conference after dominating the league for the last five years. Things are unlikely to change any time soon with Curry sidelined until Spring after undergoing multiple surgeries.
Curry has made his reputation as a fantastic teammate, so you know that it’s probably killing him inside when he sees the team struggling without him. But Curry has made the most of his time away from basketball, scheduling a little bit of tattoo therapy to lift his spirits.

Curry was tattooed by Daniel Winter, more popularly known by his moniker Winterstone. The tattoo matches the piece that Curry’s wife, Ayesha, got a few months ago. Each of the three images—a wolf, a butterfly and a unicorn—represents one of the couple’s children.

One of the things that we love about this tattoo is the way that it is a tribute to his children as a collective while also paying homage to each kid’s individuality. Ayesha said it best when speaking about her piece, “For my unicorn horse riding big girl, my creative free-spirited butterfly baby girl and my young wolf.”
Hopefully, we’ll be getting a chance to see Steph’s tattoo out on the court before the season ends. Warriors fans need a little something to get excited about after being spoiled for the last half-decade.
