Tattoo Artist and Illustrator for WWE, Kyle Scarborough, Tattoos Bray Wyatt’s Hand

The Fiend tried explaining his vision to other artists, but no one else was really able to make it come alive like tattoo artist Scarborough did.

32-year-old Windham Lawrence Rotunda performs on the SmackDown brand under the ring name Bray Wyatt, along with his masked alter-ego The Fiend. Now, he unmasks his newest tattoo addition, inked by tattoo artist Kyle Scarborough. Hosting the Firefly Fun House, the hand tattoo should heal before his long trip to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel.

The Fiend took to Twitter to post the new skull tattoo on his hand, and the fans love it.

“Let’s go to war,” Wyatt wrote in the tweet.

Scarborough tattoos out of The Washington Tattoo Collective in Washington, Missouri. While also responsible for designing Wyatt’s head lantern that he first brought out for The Fiend’s in-ring debut at SummerSlam, Scarborough is also an illustrator for WWE.

According to Wrestling Inc News, when Wyatt was first coming up with the concept of The Fiend, he had Kyle do some sketches for concept art, and Tom Savini Studios brought those sketches to life.

Kyle spoke with FOX4 in Kansas City to chat on how Wyatt came up with The Fiend.

“He had an idea for a character he was still in the works of, I guess, pitching to WWE Creative, and he outlined his ideas and his concepts,” Scarborough shares. “From there I made a piece of concept art. It’s pretty much as simple as that.”

Scarborough adds that Wyatt originally came to him to get some new ink, but then pitched an idea to overhaul his WWE character when his old gimmick got stale.

“All of this has been his idea, from the character to the fun house, the puppets, the fiend, the mask,” Scarborough continues. “What we’re seeing now, Bray is nothing short of a creative genius.”

Scarborough says to keep watching to see what’s coming, as he has some more work with Wyatt and The Fiend character that WWE fans haven’t seen yet.
