Demi Lovato Reveals New Ink Inspired By Recently Deceased Friend

She's gotten another beautiful tribute tattoo

Demi Lovato recently lost her good friend Thomas Trussell III to his battle with substance abuse, and memorialized him with a tattoo.

The singer posted a photo of a new tattoo to her Instagram, followed by photos of Trussell, to pay tribute to her friend after his recent death. Trussell passed away from an overdose after losing his fight with addiction, a struggle Lovato knows very well after being public about her various stays at treatment facilities. The tattoo Lovato got for Trussell was a single-line T done by Rafael Valdez- it’s on her left forearm.

This isn’t the first tattoo Demi has gotten to honor a loved one- she often gets ink that has some sort of deeper meaning in regards to her mental illness, family, and struggles.
