Travis Barker Gets a Tattoo for His Children
The world's most famous drummer added some more black-and-grey from Chuey Quintanar to his tattoo collection
Travis Barker is no stranger to getting his head tattooed. He has an enormous Virgin Mary on the top of his skull, the Transplants logo on the back of his head and a smattering of tattoos on his face. But even a head tattoo veteran like Barker needs some help handling the pain. So when he had a cross paying tribute to his two children added to the side of his head recently, he relied on his adorable Frenchie to get him through the process.
While we do love dogs here at Inked, you’re not here for the pup, you’re here for the tattoo. The piece was done by the same man who did the stunning Virgin Mary atop Barker’s head, Chuey Quintanar. As you can see above, the tattoo is of a cross with the names of Barker’s children—Landon and Bama—within it. The black-and-grey piece blends in seamlessly with the aforementioned Virgin Mary.
As we’re talking about one of Barker’s tattoos, we expected the comment section of his post is going to get out of hand, and this was no disappointment. In a video taken during the session, we see the pup snuggling with Barker and get a glimpse at his recently broken ring finger. Which means—you know where this is going already—a slew of commenters were calling him out for not wearing his wedding ring. On his broken finger. Because in the year 2023 we’re all up in the business and lives of every celebrity, searching for the smallest little clue to run wild with. It’s exhausting.
Yes, we see the irony of commenting on that when we’re writing about a tattoo shared on an Instagram post. But we’re doing in it for the art, man, not the gossip.
In summation, Barker teamed with Quintanar for a tremendous tattoo paying homage to some of the most important people in his life. And that dog is pretty stinking cute too.

Tattoo enthusiasts often claim addiction, but true addiction involves chemical and psychological dependence. Obsessive love for tattoos is not the same as addiction.
