JR Smith Gets a Tattoo Homage to Nipsey Hussle
Take a Look at the NBA Player's Touching New Tattoo
On March 31st, 2019 33-year-old rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot outside of his store in Los Angeles and pronounced dead shortly after at a nearby hospital. News of his passing has rocked social media, with many celebrities including Rihanna, Drake, and Hussle’s partner Lauren London reacting in disbelief. And just three days after his death was announced to the public, someone has already gotten a tattoo in his honor.
That someone happens to be JR Smith, a shooting guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Smith took to social media to show off his fresh tattoo, writing “#LONGLIVENIP” in the caption. Smith had this tattoo done at Ink Studio in New York City and since posting the tattoo, a number of professional basketball players have reacted to his fresh ink.
