Fading tattoos are just a part of a tattoo collector’s life and are not a reason for anyone to get upset over. Some people actually dig the way a faded tattoo looks, although if you’re not one of those people you have two options – get it reworked or have it lasered off and start all over again.
However, there is a certain set of criteria that does constitute acceptable fading and fading that comes as result of a tattoo that was initially laid in poorly, bad aftercare, exposure to the elements, etc.
