Body Art Unlike Any You’ve Ever Seen

To me blacklights have always represented two things—”cosmic” bowling and hippies. Considering that I am not overly fond of either of those I pretty much dismiss the idea of blacklights…

To me blacklights have always represented two things—”cosmic” bowling and hippies. Considering that I am not overly fond of either of those I pretty much dismiss the idea of blacklights ever being cool. Then I saw an collaboration between photographer Alex Markow and artist Magnus Sodamin that changed my opinion in a second. Using a soon to be torn down warehouse in Miami the two artist splatter painted models in fluorescent colors to create Lost in Infinity Split.

Under blacklights and combined with the already splatter painted background from Sodamin’s Infinity Split project, the models are almost completely invisible upon first glance. Then once your eye becomes accustomed to what you are looking at you start to see the shapes of the bodies come out. Flip through the gallery below to see the amazing collaboration.
