Check Out the Hottest Festival of the Summer

For the 2018 Made in America, the Philadelphia music festival pulled out the big guns to ensure they’d be the hottest festival of the summer. Headlining the event, Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill, Diplo and of course, Post Malone, rocked out at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway for it’s sixth consecutive Labor Day spectacular. And while we expected artists to bring the sound, it’s always a nice surprise when tattooing makes an appearance backstage. This year, JonBoy, also known as New York Cities finest, made rounds inking up some of today’s hottest stars. In fact, after tearing up the stage, Post Malone added two fresh face tattoos to his collection with the help of the celebrity tattooer. That’s right, our September cover boy can’t help himself from inking up that famous mug and we can’t believe he still has room for more face tattoos!
But Post wasn’t the only one killing it at Made in America—we’d have to give the MVP award to newcomer Tyla Yaweh. Yaweh, a native of Orlando, Florida, felt right at home on the Philadelphia stage, as well as in the pit. At just 19-years-old, Yaweh packed his bags and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music. However, the road to success wasn’t an easy one and at one point, he slept in cars or studios when given the chance. Today, Yaweh is an artist on the rise and is set to collaborate with artists such as Ty Dolla $ign, G-Eazy and French Montana. But, in the meantime, you can check out his viral tracks “Gemini,” “Goals,” and “Drugs & Pain,” on every major streaming service.
Take a look at the gallery below to see what you missed from the event and stay tuned until the end to see the reveal of Post Malone and Tyla Yaweh’s brand new ink! Then, if you’re a fan of either hip-hop artust or attended Jay-Z’s Made in America festival this year, let us know your thoughts in the comments section on Facebook.
