Everyone has their inner geek, and if you were a kid in the ’90s you probably geeked out a lot when it came to Pokémon. These pocket sized monsters were everything to ’90s kids, and they knew it as the show and card game’s signature slogan was “Gotta catch ’em all!” Now, almost two decades after Pokémon’s prime era, fans of the show are growing up and finally finding ways to catch all of their favorite childhood creatures.
Take a look at this incredible piece by tattoo artist Danny Mack. Based at Precisely Veiled Tattoo in Texas, Mack works in a variety of styles that made him the perfect artist to render this variety of Eevee tattoo. Eevee, one of the first one hundred characters created by Pokémon, is a critter who can evolve into one of five different forms depending on its owner’s will. The trick? Eevee has to pick only one form and can’t become the others. That definitely makes catching all the Pokémon a little difficult if you have to pick and choose. Luckily, this cool tattoo blew up on Reddit when Mack gave this client the best of all six worlds!
This fun, illustrative tattoo got really precise when it came to design work, thus allowing all six forms of Eevee to line up beautifully with one another. The piece showcases the first three evolutions of Eevee in the top three panels, the original Eevee in the middle, and then the newer forms of evolution in the bottom panel. By evenly distributing the panels, each form gets it’s fair puzzle-piece depiction with the original character smiling boldly in the middle. This cute, little tattoo may just win for geekiest of glorious geek tattoos!
