Remember the first time you ever carved a Jack O’Lantern? I certainly do. I tried so hard to give him weird buck teeth and was absolutely heartbroken when I chopped right through one of them. Sure, now it looked like my Jack O’Lantern got his tooth busted in a totally awesome brawl, but to an 8-year-old it meant that I failed. From that moment on I knew I wasn’t going to be a professional pumpkin carver. If even the most simple of carvings was beyond my skills, I can’t even imagine how difficult it would be to create some of the carvings in the gallery below.
