This Saturday boxing fans are finally going to get the mega fight they have spent the last half decade clamoring for—Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao. Through a partnership with Samsung fans can get a look behind the scenes as Pacquiao prepares to give Mayweather the first loss of his career. The brand new Galaxy S 6 Edge captures every aspect of the Filipino underdog’s training; from Pacquiao sparring in the ring with trainer Freddie Roach to the fighter relaxing surrounded by his massive family and entourage.
Talk of a Mayweather/Pacquiao fight started over five years ago but talks to make the fight happen were derailed multiple times. Now that it has finally come to fruition Pacquiao wanted to give the fans a little something extra.
“I thought it was important for me to give the fans this access into my Fight Week life because they made this fight happen,” Pacquiao says. “They waited five years for this fight. I truly believe they willed this fight to happen. They deserve to see how I am preparing myself for an event that has captured the world’s attention. I am so grateful to Samsung for giving me this incredible technology so that I am able to share my experiences with the fans. It has really been a lot of fun.”
The video below will give you a taste of what sort of content the fighter has been sharing this week. You can see plenty more if you follow both Pacquiao (@MannyPacquiao) and Samsung (@SamsungMobileUS) on Twitter.
