HBO Hit Series ‘The Leftovers’ Enters the 36 Chambers
SPOILER ALERT: This article may contain spoilers for the HBO series The Leftovers.
Still with us? OK, so if you watched the most recent episode of The Leftovers on HBO, you’re probably wondering how exactly it came about that Nora Durst’s character, played by Carrie Coon, would get a pretty sizable tattoo on her arm of the signature “W” of the Wu-Tang Clan, or as she calls them, “the Wu-Tang Band.” You may have just written off the whole Wu-Tang Clan tattoo thing as a hilarious and random pop culture reference (much like the surprise cameo by Mark Linn-Baker, as the only non-departed Perfect Strangers cast member), but it turns out that iconic “W” on Durst’s arm says something about her character, who has seemed on the verge of a complete mental breakdown since the show’s beginning.
