When I first came across Veronica Carol Blades, a.k.a. Miss Xronix, she was featured in a BBC Three video called “Things Not To Say To Someone With Body Modifications.” I was stunned by her alienesque beauty and unique approach to personal expression, however I later learned that Blades is far more unique than I’d previously thought. Not only is this woman a body mod fanatic, but she is also transgender. For many years, Blades has been physically transitioning into a “beyond gender” alien and we caught up with her to learn about her unique experience.
