“My 600-lb Life” Star, Steven Assanti, Got Matching Tattoos with His Wife
“Beauty is skin deep… He’s a gentleman and a fantastic lover, and lover of life in general,” said the wife of 'My 600-lb Life' reality star.
The controversial reality star of My 600-lb Life, Steven Assanti, revealed he married a massage therapist from Iowa. Still happier than ever, they now have matching tattoos.
Steven Assanti started his weight loss journey at 734 pounds and has reportedly lost 57 pounds. At the time, Assanti received backlash for throwing tantrums on the show, and going off on controversial YouTube rants.
Assanti’s wife, Stephanie Sanger, said, “Things are going well. We have been busy getting ready for the holidays.”
Sanger and Assanti have reportedly been romantically involved for 10 months, before deciding to get matching tattoos.
“He sees all my light,” the forearm tattoo reads in cursive, while his says, “she loves all my dark.”
Stephanie changed her profile picture to one with Steven back in May, around the time they got married, showing off her new ring.
This past summer, she shared what made her fall for him. “His face, his eyes, and hair. I think he’s beautiful,” Sanger said.
“Beauty is skin deep and he has a heart of gold….Steven is nothing like how he was perceived on the TV show at all, or on his YouTube videos. He’s a gentleman and a fantastic lover, and lover of life in general.”
When the two were falling for one another, many viewers had questioned their relationship, and even posed that she was a catfish. However, the matching tattoos further prove they are both, equally, in it for the long haul.
As far as future TV features go, we’ll have to see if Steven Assanti appears on an upcoming Where Are They Now? episode, but it looks like he and Stephanie are enjoying their quiet life.
