Ever wanted to get behind the needle and see what it’s like through the eyes of your favorite tattoo artists? Well, now you can! Sullen TV‘s web series Tattoo Timelapse gives viewers the perfect glimpse into the techniques and tricks of the trade that some of the top artists in the industry use while tattooing.

The latest episode of Tattoo Timelapse takes you behind the scenes of the making of a black and grey realism piece by tattoo artist Ryan Mullins. This time around Mullins is inking a portrait of Chris Evans’ Captain America from Marvel’s The Avengers. From the initial stenciling to the final white highlights, this awesome video will give viewers an inside look at the entire tattooing process that went into creating this piece before you. The coolest thing about this series, however, is that you don’t have to sit around for the full six hours to see the piece come to life, as the entire thing will be sped up to give you all of the important highlights of how Mullins works.

So make sure to watch the video here, and if you love superhero tattoos like this Captain America, make sure to check out our favorite badass comic book tattoos right here.
