And even if only we notice it, it’s pretty difficult to accept and love our flaws. However, for someone whose insecurities are much more visible—self-love becomes even more difficult. This was the case for Ash Soto, a young woman who was diagnosed with vitiligo at age 12 and spent years covering her skin pigmentation.
