It’s safe to say that facial hair has become extremely popular in the society that we live in. In the past facial hair including—but not limited to—beards, moustaches, and sideburns were used as a way to show off sexual maturity, to signal dominance, and could also be seen as a form of rank within a community. Recent pop culture has proved that today men grow facial hair primarily for style and fashion. What we don’t see on an everyday basis, however, are the people like the ones who enter into the annual World Beard and Moustache Championships. If you think you’ve some seen wild facial hair in the U.S., just wait until you see these badasses from all over that traveled to Austria for the competition! We can thank Mashable.com for posting this insane video.
