This Artist Creates a New World Every Day
That's right, each of these pieces was created in a single day
Michaelangelo took four years to paint the Sistine Chapel. Leonardo Da Vinco also spent four years painting Mona Lisa. Vincent Van Gogh spent a whopping 10 years painting The Starry Night. Yet, Mike Winklemann, also known as Beeple, creates a new digital art piece every single day.
This graphic designer has worked with big name artists such as Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj, as well as brands like Louis Vuitton, Apple, Nike and Coca-Cola. And when he’s not creating concert visuals for major stars or advertising campaigns for top brands, he’s making a new digital art piece every single day. For over 13 years, Beeple has created a new work of art every day and is currently on day 4,768. He uses Cinema 4D and Octane to create daily renders, many of which pertain to relevant popular culture and political news.
His journey began over a decade ago with simple drawings and his work has evolved to incredible fantasy worlds that borrow from “Star Wars,” Nintendo, Disney and include cultural figures such as Donald Trump, Joe Exotic, Kim Jong Un and Elon Musk.
His art is truly a testament to his continued work ethic and we can’t imagine being half as motivated as Beeple. Take a look at some of his most recent digital artworks in the gallery below, then let us know your thoughts on his work in the comments section on social media.
