Bill Cosby, Kevin Spacey, R Kelly and Celebrity Portraits People Regret Getting After 2018
What Would You Do If You Had a Celebrity Portrait Gone Wrong?
While you may already know that it’s a bad idea to get a tattoo for a significant other, many may not realize the dangers of celebrity portraits. Celebrity portraits are an extremely popular request in the tattoo community, however, there are challenges that can come with replicating the likeness of a real person. Celebrities are imperfect human beings and following the wave of accusations that came out of the #metoo movement, it’s been revealed that many Hollywood heavyweights are capable of doing some seriously heinous things. So before you go out and get your favorite actor or singer’s face tattooed on you forever, let this gallery be a word of warning.
Johnny Depp
Although Johnny Depp is one of the most beloved actors of this generation, his reputation has changed drastically over the past several years. Back in 2016, his ex-wife Amber Heard came forward with domestic violence charges against Depp. During her court declaration, Heard stated that Depp was “verbally and physically abusive” toward her and there were multiple photographs proving battery. Then, in June of 2018, Depp was sued by a former crew member for punching him repeatedly in the ribs. And on top of that, he’s currently in a $30 million lawsuit with his former legal team. One word: YIKES!
Kevin Spacey
Although many high-profile people in Hollywood were exposed during the #metoo movement, one of the biggest accusations brought forth was against actor Kevin Spacey. In December of 2017, actor Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of making sexually advanced toward him when he was just 14-years-old. Shortly after, numerous other men came forward saying that Spacey had sexually harassed or assaulted them.
James Franco
Spacey wasn’t the only Hollywood heavyweight to be burned by the #metoo movement. Throughout 2018, Franco received countless allegations of sexual misconduct, including actors he’d worked with and students he’d had while teaching at NYU. Then, upon releasing her memoir, actress Busy Phillips stated that Franco had violently shoved her to the ground while shooting Freaks and Geeks.
R. Kelly
R. Kelly, where do we even begin with this one? Let’s begin with his marriage to Aaliyah, whom he married illegally when she was just 15-years-old. Then, in 2002, a video surfaced featuring Kelly having sex and urinating on an underage girl. He went on to be indicted on 21 cases of child pornography. Fast forward and we have his sex cult, which was first brought up in 2017 and later detailed in Lifetime’s 2019 docuseries Surviving R. Kelly.
Harvey Weinstein
When it comes to the #metoo movement, no one received more bad press than film producer Harvey Weinstein. In October of 2017, The New York Times and The New Yorker reported that dozens of women had accused Weinstein of rape, sexual assault, and sexual abuse. Since then, approximately 80 different women have come forward with their own accusations against Weinstein.
Ron Jeremy
Pornographic actor Ron Jeremy may have been ranked the top performer of all time, however, he was unofficially dethroned after numerous women publically came forward accusing Jeremy of sexual assault, including many high-profile adult performers.
Louis C.K.
Comedian Louis C.K. found himself in hot water after numerous women made reports of C.K. exposing his genitals and masturbating in front of them without consent. Many of these women were fellow comedians, including Tig Notaro, Rebecca Corry, Dana Min Goodman, and Julia Wolov.
Bill Cosby
Over the past decade, stand-up comedian and actor Bill Cosby has been accused of rape, drug-facilitated sexual assault, sexual battery, child sexual abuse and more from over 60 different women. Many of these accusations are more than a decade old and on September 25th of 2018, Cosby was sentenced to between three and 10 years in prison.
