Meet the Missouri Felon With Body Count Face Tattoo
Can you believe he kept track of his victims with a face tattoo?
While face tattoos on felons are a dime a dozen, it’s not every day that the tattoo matches the crime. However, these cases do come about from time to time and one of our favorite examples was this guy from South Carolina. Back in June of 2018, Michael Vines was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm—despite having a loaded gun tattooed across his forehead.
Another example of a face tattoo directly referencing a crime comes from a recent arrest in Missouri. Following a deadly Kansas City shooting, a 25-year-old man named Jonathan S. Lowery was charged with second-degree murder, armed criminal action, and tampering with a motor vehicle in connection with the shooting.
A surveillance video provided by a witness showed Lowery sitting in a van outside the victim’s home and he was seen with five tally marks tattooed under his right eye. When Lowery was taken in for questioning, it was noted that he now had six tally marks tattoos and his DNA was recovered on the crime scene.
