Chris Watts Reveals Big Metallica Back Tattoo When Taken in For Killing Family

The Metallica lyrics Watts searched on the day of the murder is most chilling...

After 33-year-old father and husband, Chris Watts, dumped his 4 and 3-year-old daughters’ bodies in an oil tank, and buried his wife in a shallow grave nearby, he gained viral infamy for casually picking up a breakfast roll at a Colorado convenience store.

His wife, Shanann, was 15 weeks pregnant.

Later revealed, Watts had a mistress. Investigators searched through the phone of the mistress, Nichol Kessinger, to find that she had searched for wedding dresses a week before the murders and Googled “anal sex” for 45 minutes prior to her last date with Watts. Her last date was the night before the murders.

Kessinger’s final Google search that investigators noted came after the murders, when she looked into how much money Amber Frey, (the mistress of convicted wife-killer Scott Peterson) made in her tell-all book deal. As well as her net worth.

She also searched “did people hate Amber Frey.”

A search of Watts’ phone found thousands of hidden nude and semi-nude photos of Kessinger in a secret calculator app that was only accessed by typing in a four digit code.

Authorities also released hours of interview footage in the case, including the moment Watts was told he had failed a polygraph test.

While Watts confessed to killing Shanann to his father, he said he would not admit the crime of killing his daughters until entering his plea deal at the Weld County Courthouse.

His dad, Ronnie, had stayed in the interrogation room as the two agents returned, rubbing his son’s back while he told them he had murdered his wife.”

For evidence collection, Watts revealed his huge Metallica back tattoo.

Investigators reported that Watts’ online search history showed that he looked up the lyrics to Metallica’s “Battery.” This search was on the same day of his family’s murder.

The most gut-wrenching part is the lyrics in “Battery”: “Cannot kill the family.”
