Exclusive: Chris Hemsworth Adds Geometric Tattoo to His Collection

Take a look at the Marvel star's newest piece by Dillon Forte

We tattoos of Thor on a pretty regular basis, but it’s not every day that we see a new tattoo ON Thor. Chris Hemsworth, known to many as Thor from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and known to me as the jock cliché character in “The Cabin in the Woods,” recently got a new tattoo by celebrity artist Dillon Forte.

Forte specializes in ornate geometric designs, often ornamenting his clientele in thick black bodysuits of sacred geometry. For Hemsworth, however, he opted for a fine-line piece with intricate triangles and circles on his forearm.

Hemsworth has received several small tattoos over the years. These include the letters “C, E, I, T and S,” which stand for Chris, Elsa, India, Tristan and Sasha—the names of his wife and three children. He also has an illustration by Dr. Seuss on his right bicep, as well as a matching Avengers logo done by Josh Lord of East Side Ink. Five of the six original Avengers have this tattoo, Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), excluding Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), who opted out.

Forte has given out many impressive geometric tattoos on celebrities from around the world, including Usher, Ben McKee of Imagine Dragons and Kat Von D. He owns and operates Forte Tattoo out of Austin, Texas.

What do you think of Chris Hemsworth’s newest tattoo? Would you get a sacred geometry tattoo? Let us know in the comments section on social media.
