Doja Cat Shows Off New Arm Tattoos in Stunning Grammys Look

The rapper known for trolling isn’t messing with us this time

Record-breaking singer and rapper Amala Dlamini, better known as Doja Cat, showed off two new tattoos along with her Grammys look this weekend. In a carousel post of her wearing a stunning brown leather KNWLS dress, you’ll notice a cryptic little devilman on her inner bicep, as well as a sleek spider below her inner elbow.

Over the past year or so, Dlamani has been making nonstop bold statements in both her makeup looks and fashion choices. Her thin eyebrows nearly broke the Internet, especially her sperm eyebrow look which was definitely… creative. We also can’t go without mentioning her blazing red, Swarovski crystal extravaganza at Paris Fashion Week just over a week ago, which had her looking like a bedazzled red blood cell. With Dlamini, we never know what to expect next, and these two pieces of fresh ink are further evidence of that.

It is unclear whether or not these are Dlamini’s first tattoos, but it appears they’re the first ones on her arms. We’re not counting the “first tattoo” she posted last summer. As far as these new pieces’ meanings go, we can only interpret them as Dlamini getting in touch with her gothic and edgy side, which has been exuding more as of late with her shaved head, graphic liner looks and face piercing prosthetics. She even changed her Instagram picture to a creepy crawler.

Doja Cat’s 2021 album, “Planet Her,” received critical acclaim and enjoyed a wide range of hit singles like “Kiss Me More,” “Need to Know” and “Get Into It (Yuh).” The record was also the first album by a female rapper in history to spend six months in the top 10 of the Billboard 200. In 2022, the singer remained quieter on the music side, so perhaps this new ink signals new bops on the way?

Are you a fan of Doja Cat’s new ink? What do you think she’s got stirring in the pot?
