Celine Dion Begs Drake To Not Get A Tattoo Of Her
From one Canadian artist to another, the advice is ,”If you do it, just do a fake one.”
Drake’s musical-muse portraits are well known, including two tattoos of Sade, Denzel Washington, Aaliyah, The Beatles, and Rihanna eating ice cream.
His artist, Inal Bersekov, tells INKED, “All my training is blood and sweat!”
His plan to add Celine Dion to the list started two years ago at the Billboard Music Awards, when he told her he was “like a year away from a Céline tat,” gesturing to his already tattooed ribcage. Recently, Dion told iHeartRadio Canada that the decision was unwise, pleading and begging him to not go through with it.
“Please, Drake, I love you very much. Can I tell you something? Don’t do that,” Dion said. “You can write me love letters. You can send me autographs for my kids. You can come and visit. I can have you home for lunch or dinner. We can go for a drink. We can sing together. Whatever you want to do. I can talk to your mother. Whatever you want, but please.”
The “Because You Loved Me” artist doesn’t want Drake to honor Dion in ink, just because he loves her.
She continued that a tattooed portrait of her won’t age well as Drake grows older, just as she will get older.
“This is not the money maker over here, first of all,” she said. “The thing I want to say to you, all of us here, we’re going forward in life. I’ve always been very thin. As time goes, as you go older, you too when times comes my face will go longer and it will go not prettier. Please don’t tattoo. If you do it, just do a fake one.”

Tattoo enthusiasts often claim addiction, but true addiction involves chemical and psychological dependence. Obsessive love for tattoos is not the same as addiction.
