Elon Musk and Grimes Share Photo of Tattooed New Baby
Yes, we know it's a filter. But baby X Æ A-12 Musk looks pretty darn cute with that ink.
Back in February when Grimes announced that she and boyfriend Elon Musk were expecting a child there was one thing for certain—this was going to be interesting. Opinions about the two vary wildly, but the consensus is that whatever they do, people end up talking about it. The birth of their son was no exception as Twitter exploded in the hours following the announcement.
Musk has been known to be playful with people on Twitter, often spouting off sarcastically and saying somewhat outlandish things. So, at first, people assumed that Musk was kidding when he announced the name of his son—X Æ A-12 Musk.

If you are unsure of how to pronounce that, fear not, you are far from alone. Later in the day, Grimes explained how the couple came up with the name, thus giving some credence to the possibility that the child really will be named X Æ A-12.
•X, the unknown variable ⚔️
•Æ, my elven spelling of Ai (love &/or Artificial intelligence)
•A-12 = precursor to SR-17 (our favorite aircraft). No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in battle, but non-violent 🤍

As you can see, there’s a lot behind this unconventional name. But you’re not here for the name, are you? You wanna see those tattoos, right?
Check out this photo that Musk shared of the newborn. Who knew that babies were following the stylings of Post Malone right at birth?

Of course, we know the pictures are using a filter, but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t both hilarious and adorable.
Welcome to the world, X Æ A-12 Musk. Maybe in 18 years one of my children will be writing an article about you getting your first real tattoo… on MARS!
