Meet the 11-year-old Tattoo Artist/ Drug Dealer in HBO’s Euphoria
Have you tuned in to the highly controversial Euphoria?
Euphoria is a teen drama television show starring Zendaya that premiered on HBO on June 16th, 2019. The series follows a group of friends as they deal with issues of drug addiction, gender identity, sexuality, body positivity, and domestic violence. So far, the series has garnered exceptionally positive reviews and was soon renewed for a second season.
And while many fans are captivated by the show’s leads, one of Euphoria’s supporting cast members is rapidly gaining attention. 11-year-old Javon ‘Wanna’ Walton plays the character Ashtray, the wise talking and street smart younger brother of Fezco, the local drug dealer. So far in the series, Ashtray has been at the helm of the town’s drug deals, but on July 14th’s episode, he took on a different role.
In the episode, friends turned lovers Rue (Zendaya) and Jules (Hunter Schafer) decide to get matching lip tattoos of their couple name, Rules. And who’s the one giving out tattoos? Why the 11-year-old hustler himself!
On Walton’s personal Instagram, he shared a behind-the-scenes video learning how to tattoo. A tattoo artist, presumably, shows him the proper hand positioning to tattoo an inner lip and we’ve gotta say—the kid’s a natural?
What do you think of this pint-sized tattooer? Have you been watching Euphoria? Let us know your thoughts on this HBO series and this story in the comments section.
