12 Game of Thrones Cosplay Fails and Wins

Did they nail the Mother of Dragons or fall short of the resemblance?

On April 14th, 2019 the eighth season of the critical acclaimed fantasy series Game of Thrones premiered on HBO. Over the shows eight seasons, fans from around the globe have celebrated the world created by award-winning novelist George R.R. Martin. From conventions to tattoos, the GOT fans have shown their support in a variety of creative ways. However, one of the best ways to show your appreciation for the seven kingdoms is through cosplay. We’ve collected some of the greatest wins and fails in cosplay from GOT biggest fans, and it’s time you took a peek at our picks. Take a look at the artistry in the gallery below and let us know your thoughts on this story in the comments section.

Fails

While Khal Drogo looks better than ever, Daenerys has seen better days.

Did they nail the resemblance? That’s a no from me dog.

While this cosplay isn’t the worst, it’s nothing to get excited about.

We cannot believe our eyes.

This look…it’s interesting.

Personally, we love this look. However, he could have done better in the footwear department.

What’s happening here?! Is that a football?

Wins

Wait, you’re telling us they’re not Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa?

The resemblance to Natalie Dormer is unreal.

He took this look to another level with the creative prop concept.

Now that’s how you do an iron throne.

This cosplay is the best of the best, hands down.
