Grimes is Expecting Her First Child with Elon Musk

Elon Musk is about to be a dad, for the 7th time! The Tesla CEO is expecting a baby with his partner, Grimes, a Canadian musician nearly twenty years his junior. Musk and Grimes have been together since 2018, after connecting over Twitter. They made their first public apperance at the 2018 Met Gala, appearing in a video for Vogue. Many were surprised by their coupling, however, it’s clear that these two nerds were written in the stars.

This will be the first child for the 31-year-old singer and the 7th for Musk, the latter who fathered six children with Canadian author Justine Wilson. Musk and Wilson’s first son died of Sudden Infant Death syndrome at the age of 10 weeks and the pair went on to have five sons, twins in 2004 and triplets in 2006, via in vitro fertilization.

Musk has an estimated net worth of $29.4 billion as of January 2020, making him the 23rd richest man in the world according to Forbes. Therefore, even split six ways, the youngest Musk baby is going to be exceptionally well off.
