Ink Master Reveals Groundbreaking Theme for Season 12

Cue Dave Navarro: *THIS SEASON ON INK MASTER,* Paramount Network is rolling out a brand new theme that will turn the series on its head. For the first time in the history of the franchise, there will be an equal number of men and women competing for the title of Ink Master, an editorial spread in Inked, and of course, $100,000.

Prior to season 12, each season was comprised of 3-5 women within the cast of 18 contestants. However, now Paramount is bringing gender to the forefront of the tattoo reality competition and along the way, reintroducing audiences to fan favorites from past seasons. Ryan Ashley, Joey Hamilton, Bubba Irwin, and Sarah Miller are just some of the show’s alumni coming back as coaches, with many more past contestants making appearances episode by episode.

Season 12 of Ink Master is slated to premiere on June 11th at 10/9c on Paramount Network, with 15 episodes coming out every Tuesday throughout the summer. Take a look at a sneak peek of the season in the video below and let us know your thoughts on the exciting theme in the comments section.
