Lil’ Wayne’s Banging New Face Tattoo
The rapper's latest addition to his extensive collection of face tattoos is quite explosive.
It is the year 2020 and face tattoos have become almost commonplace within the hip hop community. Everybody from Post Malone to Tekashi 69 seems to have at least a couple of tattoos on their face. Going even deeper than that, face tattoos now seem like a prerequisite for rappers with the word “Lil” in their name. Lil Xan, Lil Pump, Lil Peep—all sporting a plethora of face tattoos. There is one face tattoo rockin’ “Lil” that stands above them all, the man who was getting face tattoos back when Lil Xan was just a twinkle in his momma’s eye—Lil Wayne.
Lil Wayne first became a massive star back in the late ’90s and it wasn’t that much later that we saw him first showing off some tattoos on his face. At the time, there weren’t really any mainstream stars with face tattoos, so they made Lil Wayne stand out. One might even say that he paved the way for the stars of today.
Recently, Lil Wayne decided to add another piece to his already extensive collection of face tattoos. The newest addition is on his right cheek, just above his peace sign tattoo. The new tattoo is a tiny drawing of a dynamite plunger—the technical name for the thing Wile E Coyote and hundreds of other cartoon characters push down to set off some explosives—with “TNT” written on it.
While we may prefer the artistry behind some other famous face tattoos, the TNT plunger fits in with Weezy’s collection. We love the explosive new tattoo. What do you think? Let us know on social media.
