These Tattoos are for Lovers
Celebrate Lover's Day with romantic ink
April 23rd is Lover’s Day, a holiday that promotes all things romance. While every day is Lover’s Day for some, this is another opportunity to show your significant other how much they mean to you. Whether that’s done with a bouquet of their favorite flowers, a box of chocolates, a thoughtful note or simply, their favorite home cooked meal. There are an infinite number of ways you can share the love with your special someone, even while practicing social distancing!
Social distancing to stop the spread of COVID-19 has taken a toll on many people’s love lives—both taken couples and single people. For singles, they’re not able to meet up with dates in real life and hooking up is a big no-no. Instead, they’ve flocked to online dating and Zoom is the new meet cute.
For taken people, especially those spending quarantine together, they need to bring communication and creativity into their relationship. Communicating effectively as a couple is more important now than ever before, as there’s no avoiding each other in a cramped apartment. And to keep things fun and fresh, couples need to get creative when it comes to date ideas. Because they can’t go out to a movie, a restaurant or even a bar, they need to find ways to keep the passion alive in the home. But hey, at least Netflix and Chill has stayed the same!
While Lover’s Day 2020 is going to be very different than years past, at least love has stayed the same. In honor of this upcoming holiday, we’ve curated some of our favorite romance inspired tattoos—which depict kissing, hand holding, tarot cards and some of the most iconic romance movies of all time. Take a look at the love-ly ink in the gallery below, then let us know your thoughts on this story on social media.
