You Won’t Believe Moby’s Shocking Vegan Neck Tattoo

Did Moby go too far with his newest tattoo?

Moby is one of the best selling dancer music figures of all time, selling over 20 million records world wide and helping to bring this genre to the mainstream during the early 1990s. But, in addition to being a musician, Moby is also a well known vegan activist and has dedicated himself to living plant-based for the past 32 years.

And that’s the end of the Then It Fell Apart U.S book tour! To be honest, it’s the only kind of touring that I like, because it’s so much more personal and intimate than conventional touring. Headed to the Uk and Ireland next week for more book touring. So, hopefully see you then. Ps a reminder: 100% of my profits from the book events, and the sale of the book, go to animal rights organizations. Pic @la_mapguy

In 1984, Moby became vegan after adopting a cat, who he named Tucker, off the streets.  He’s supported numerous campaigns to end factory farming over the years and on September 17th, he showed off his latest declaration to veganism with a fresh tattoo. Moby sought out the talents of fellow Vegan and former LA Ink star, Kat von D, for a bold neck piece inspired by his pledge to abstain from consuming animal products.

I’ve been a vegan for almost 32 years, so getting this tattoo seemed like a pretty safe bet. Also, working for animal rights and animal liberation is my life’s work. And to state the obvious, it’s a double entendre…thank you @thekatvond

And while we love Moby’s message and believe he’s going to stick to his word for life, we couldn’t help but think of this fellow, who followed a similar tattoo path before rewriting his story.
