New Zealand Musician Gets Huge Face Tattoo in Honor of This Pop Star
We Can't Believe Her Shocking Tattoo
Over the years, face tattoos have become a huge component of the music industry. Artists like Lil Wayne, The Game and Gucci Mane once stood out for having facial ink, however, today these permanent designs are the industry standard. Rappers, especially those who came up through SoundCloud, have embraced bold and controversial face tattoos and it seems like there’s a competition for the craziest ink. Well, that challenge may have been matched by a 24-year-old pop singer from New Zealand.
Kelsy Karter is a pop singer who is best known for her songs “God Knows I’ve Tried” and “Sad Sad Summer.” However, she’s recently captured the attention of social media after posting a photo of a new tattoo on her Instagram.
The tattoo in question is an enormous portrait of British musician Harry Styles and it was inked by LA artist Romeo Lacoste. Lacoste has tattooed a number of musicians over the years, including Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Kendrick Lamar.
Many online have speculated over whether the tattoo is real or if it’s a prank done to promote her recently released single, “Harry.” We certainly hope for her sake that the piece was a hoax because this tattoo is larger than life.
What do you think of her new tattoo? Would you get a tattoo for your idol? Let us know your thoughts, opinions, and questions in the comments section on Facebook.
