Looking for a reason to visit Europe? Looking for a reason to get more ink? (Like anyone really needs to find a reason?) What about a chance to hang out and party with Ink Masters and a tattoo model? Well, you can experience all of this while kicking back on a sleek river cruise ship as it makes its way up the Main river in Germany.

We found out that a U River Cruises, a modern European river cruise line, has been able to put together one of the more unique tattoo experiences we’ve come across in a very long time.

Unlike a convention or a large-scale tattoo vacation, this is a very intimate setting with only 120 tattoo enthusiasts onboard. The cost of boarding gets you 8 days and 7 nights of ink related activities, breakfast, lunch and dinner, and an open bar…all aboard the ship.

Already secured and ready to accept bookings for getting inked onboard are Steven Tefft, Reese Hillburn, and Bobby Moss. Thinking about getting a new piercing? Well, in addition to hosting some of the onboard events, crowd favorite Heather Moss will also find time slots to poke another hole in you.

The organizers of this event have also informed us that they’re close to announcing some big-time German artists who will be hopping onboard along the way to lay down some award-winning international ink.

From what we’re told this is how your week aboard the ship will shape up.

The ship sets sail on August 17th from a river pier in Frankfurt and heads west toward Nuremberg. Along the way, you’ll enjoy stops in Miltenberg, Gmunden, Karlstadt, Wurzburg, Kitzingen, Bamberg, Nuremberg and ultimately finish up on August 24 in Regensburg. That’s a lot of Burgs! And based on the itinerary of parties, ink-related events, contests and tattoo shop crawls in addition to the tours and excursions to historic German cities and onboard activities such as mixology classes, silent discos and local DJs found on U River Cruises, this is going to be a powerhouse tattoo experience.

Let’s take a quick look at who’s on board right now. Steven Tefft is a true Ink Master, winning the title back on Season Two. His horror themed and portrait work make him one of the most sought-after tattoo artists from the show.

Beauty, brains, and talent. That’s what Reese Hilburn, of “Tattoo Nightmares Miami” brings to the table every day and she will be bringing that and her love of a good time to this cruise. “When the cruise line reached out to me to help book artists for this event, I immediately thought of Steven and Reese. They are the best mix of talent and personality. They both love creating great skin art, meeting their fans and having a great time.” said Jennifer Lee of the Jenn Lee Group.

According to the promoters of the event after much logistical maneuvering, it was finally possible to land the “Moss Power Couple” of Bobby and Heather. This husband and wife team are a fan favorite to any stateside convention. This is one of their first forays into international waters!
