This Ukrainian Fashion Brand Collaborates with World-Renowned Tattoo Artists

Over the last decade, tattoos and tattoo culture have been a major source of inspiration for fashion designers. From the recent rebranding of Gucci to the tried and true Ed Hardy clothing line, many big brands pay homage to permanent body art through seasonal trends. The latest name to create a clothing collection with strong ties to tattooing is known as TTSWTRS (or Tattoo Sweaters).

This Ukrainian brand was started five years ago by costume designer and celebrity stylist Anna Osmekhina, who has collaborated with 10 different tattooers since starting her company. According to Osmekhina, “TTSWTRS sees clothing as a second skin and tattoos as the only true way to decorate it.” Her first collection debuted at the concept boutique Colette in Paris and sold out during its first week on the shelves. Today, TTSWTRS is sold in seven different countries, including the United States, South Korea, China, and Russia.
